Meet Daffy — our little daffodil with dazzling eyes! This sunshine girl brings bright, happy energy wherever she goes. With her soft golden coat and those striking arctic-blue eyes, she may look like she’s serving a cool spring breeze — but don’t be fooled. Beneath that icy gaze is nothing but warm sweetness. Daffy lives for belly rubs, gentle pets, and soaking up attention from her favorite humans. This lovely lady is completely house trained and so well-mannered she doesn’t even need a crate. She’s perfectly content lounging at home while you’re away, and when you return, she’ll greet you with that soft, trusting expression that melts hearts instantly. She rarely barks — just a polite heads-up if someone’s running by or approaching the house. Daffy is a dream on leash and absolutely adores long spring walks. She’s a fantastic loose-leash walker with great recall, though squirrels do spark her curiosity (can you blame her? Spring is exciting!). She shows friendly interest in other dogs, and she’s wonderfully gentle and trustworthy with children of all ages. Cats are still a mystery to her. When the flowers bloom and the sun streams through the windows, you’ll likely find Daffy stretched across a sunny patch of couch, claiming her favorite chair, or cozied up on her foster’s bed. She’s an expert lounger, a toy enthusiast, and a beautifully balanced companion who entertains herself just as happily as she snuggles beside you.
