About Bernieblanton
Bernieblanton has been through some ups and downs lately. Found wandering and underfed, he was lucky enough to be taken in by a caring family who helped him regain his health. Though they gave him much-needed care, Bernieblanton’s playful energy proved a bit too much for their household, so they reached out for help placing him. Now with the rescue, Bernieblanton is showing how friendly and eager to please he can be. He listens well and knows "Sit," understands when he’s being a good or not-so-good boy, and especially lights up when you call him a "Good Boy." At about 4 years old and tipping the scales around 140lbs, he’s a true gentle giant who loves cuddling up when the excitement winds down. Bernieblanton will do best with someone comfortable handling very large dogs. The rescue requires a fenced yard, home visit, and vet references from prospective adopters. His vaccinations are fully up to date, with nothing needed until the end of 2026. Click apply to start the adoption process.
