As a mature lady, Lizzy knows exactly what she wants out of life: a friendly dog her own size to play with, and a secure, fenced yard where she can zoom around to her heart’s content. At 8 years old, she still has plenty of spunk! Her ideal day includes a short walk, a fun car ride, and an evening curled up on the couch for snuggles. Lizzy has successfully lived with other dogs, cats, and children over the age of 12. She’s well-mannered in the home and long past the chewing stage. She’s very food-motivated and is currently on a diet to keep her at a healthy weight, which also helps support her joints. Lizzy does have some arthritis in her feet and takes daily joint supplements to keep her comfortable. While she can be a bit shy when first meeting new people, a few tasty treats go a long way—once she warms up, Lizzy’s sweet, loving personality truly shines.
