About Buddy
Buddy is a big-hearted, 4-year-old Husky/Shepherd mix rescued after being abandoned during a snowstorm, and he’s been a loyal companion ever since. He stands out for his gentle nature and patience, especially with other dogs—when he met his bulldog friend Mouse, Buddy showed nothing but kindness. Buddy has mastered his basic training: you’ll find him responding to ‘sit’, ‘down’, and ‘wait’, and he walks nicely on a leash, eager for new outings but happiest sticking close to his people. Rural homes, ranches, or properties with space are ideal for Buddy, where he can explore and relax outdoors. Despite his Husky roots, he’s not an escape artist and feels content and safe inside his yard. While he’s playful and full of life, Buddy doesn’t require constant activity—he simply wants a home where he’s loved, involved, and maybe joined by a few furry friends. He isn’t house trained yet, so patience and encouragement will help him adjust to indoor life. If you’re seeking a steadfast companion built for adventure and affection, Buddy is ready to make every day brighter. Click apply to start the adoption process.
