Little guy Luther came in soooo terribly skinny and reactive-aggressive. This little dude was very traumatized by someone. Since arriving here, he is learning that domestic life isn’t so bad, and he has gained tons of weight! He tends to like men more than women, but he takes time to build up trust with anybody. He is not the type you will be able to take home and snuggle on the first night, or maybe not even the first week. Luther is not a dog for young or pushy kids. He does well with my teens now but it took him time to trust them. Once he’s comfortable, he loves to snuggle on the laps of those he trusts and eat treats. Popcorn and movies is his thing, in a blanket snuggling. He is learning potty training but outside can still be scary for him. He does well with cats and other dogs, but he is more likely to play with the smaller dogs and puppies than the bigger dogs.
