Aries was one of 6-kittens and two adult cats (one of them Pregnant) found as strays in a cat colony near the Cahokia Mounds in STL. A sweet couple who lived in the area helped feed and care for these cats daily. It was their mission to try and scope out the docile, friendly cats who were highly adoptable and then find placement at a no-kill rescue. The couple was able to humanely trap 8 cats/kittens in total, which turned into 12 cats in total once the Mama cat gave birth at Country Acres Rescue. Aries came to us with a ton of parasites and was infested with fleas and tapeworms. She has since been vetted and cleared of all her ailments and feels so much BETTER. She is super resilient and learning to trust the staff and volunteers with each passing day. She is a gorgeous black and white kitty cat!
