About Stitch
Stitch came into rescue as a feral cat after a TNR sweep in March 2024, having suffered a severe eye injury that required removal. He was wild and wary back then, but his story didn’t stall out. After healing, he was released to a new, safer location and, over the past year, transformed under the care of patient caregivers. The once-feral cat has become a different animal – loving attention, affection, and the gentle touch of human hands. Right now, Stitch stays in a small outdoor building, but he gravitates toward comfort and routine. The next step for him is a foster home where he can get used to indoor living, discover his favorite things, and really open up. A quieter environment would suit him best, with someone willing to take the time to guide him through all the novelties and comforts of home life. Stitch gets along with both cats and children, so he’d do well with a little company, as long as things aren’t chaotic. He’s ready to leave outdoor life behind for something much better.
