About Gerald And Herald
Gerald and Herald are two South Philly survivors who weathered their first winter huddled together. Found as tiny kittens in the aftermath of a harsh snowstorm, they nearly didn’t make it, losing two siblings before being brought to safety. Foster care became their first safe haven—warmth, comfort, and a sense of security they’d never known. With time, Gerald and Herald slowly came out of their shells, each in their own way. Herald, with his white and brown markings, comes alive at the touch—his purr is instant, and he relishes any affection. He craves closeness and exudes playful, eager energy, making up for lost time with every encounter. Gerald, a soft gray tabby, carries a gentle spirit. More reserved, he observes before leaping in, but there’s warmth behind his calm, and every day he grows bolder, favoring spiral scrunchies, tasty treats, and cozy nooks shared with Herald. These brothers are truly bonded, survivors who rely on each other for comfort and reassurance. Their personalities weave together, Herald’s brightness wrapped around Gerald’s steady quiet. They must be adopted together, and they need a home that recognizes their journey and offers the safety and compassion they've earned. Gerald and Herald get along well with other cats and with children. Their adoption fee is sponsored. They’re ready for the soft, loving home they nearly missed out on. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
