Sweetness alert! Meet Missy, also affectionately called Miss Wishbone. She is one of seven pups that were turned over to our rescue. All have been fully vetted and are now receiving excellent care in a kind and experienced private foster home while waiting for a place to hang their leashes forever. Missy is about 1 year, 9mths old (Feb 2026) and 35 pounds (February 2025)...every ounce is filled with sweetness. She’s the smallest of the litter. Our best guess as to her primary breed is lab – possibly with some pittie in the mix. What we KNOW is that this little darling is a lovable, affectionate and smart little lady! She learns quickly and listens well. Her foster mom and dad are teaching her the ropes of house, crate and leash training and she's coming along very nicely! She's learning to walk on leash like a big girl. With consistency and positive reinforcement, this well-loved sweetie will be a wonderful family companion. Missy is very energetic! Although she used to play with her siblings when she was younger, she has now become territorial and would do best in a home with no other dogs; she is also protective with her food. She thinks cats are for chasing, so she will do best in a home with no kitties. Missy loves to cuddle and soak up attention though! She's a little shy when meeting new people. but warms up nicely once she feels safe. Missy is spayed, micro-chipped and up to date on vaccinations. Her doggy bag is packed and she is ready to head to a loving forever home.
