This beautiful shy yet independent and loving pup has been through a lot. Petuka was rescued along with her sister from a gas station where they lived. Despite all the abuse and hunger they endured, they were hopeful; their faith and hunger were a lot greater than fear. Their rescuer fed them daily until they were caught. Upon their rescue, both sisters were taken to the veterinarian. Petuka was given antibiotic treatment for tick infection, a nice warm bath, and treats for her good behavior. She has been dewormed, given flea treatment, is fully vaccinated, and spayed. Petuka is now 3 1/2 yrs young, she weighs 50lbs (loves food and treats), and longs to have her own family.
