He's a French Chibull (French Bulldog/Chihuahua mix) who takes after his Chihuahua side more in looks (except for his perfect nub of a tail, which is allll Frenchie!) Mateo is a "people person" (rather than a "dog person") and his favorite activity is to snuggle! Whether you're sitting on a couch with him or carrying him around, Mateo is most content when he's in your arms! He loves squeaky toys and puppy nylabones, and is a hearty little eater! Mateo's must-haves are: a family who is experienced with the brachycephalic (snub-nosed) breeds, a loving family to continue helping him grow into a great family member, and a physical fenced yard. He is first learning about crate training and house training, along with all the sights and sounds in his foster home. His ideal home will be with an adult family, or one with respectful kids 10+ and a consistent schedule (which will help with house-training too)!
