Meet Lightning! Lightning is a 10-month-old, 37-pound bundle of pure sweetness looking for his forever home. This handsome boy truly lives up to his name with his bright spirit and happy personality—but when it comes to manners, he’s calm, gentle, and oh-so easygoing. Lightning is fully housebroken and crate trained like a pro. He sleeps quietly in his crate all night without making a peep and settles in perfectly whenever he needs to be crated during the day. Even better, he has recently earned the privilege of sleeping outside the crate and has been a complete angel—no accidents, no mischief, just a good boy enjoying his freedom. He spends his days hanging out calmly with our dogs while his foster dad works from home, and he fits right in with the pack. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and isn’t a big rough-houser—he’s more of a laid-back, go-with-the-flow kind of guy. Lightning is also fantastic with kids. He’s been gentle and loving with his 8- and 10-year-old human siblings, happily soaking up all the attention they give him. His favorite thing in the world is simply being close to his people. He’s a total cuddle bug who will rub his head in your lap until you give him the pets he deserves.
