Nickie is a 7-year-old Pomeranian mix weighing about 12 pounds who had spent most of her life confined to a cage. When she was finally given freedom, it took several days for her to feel safe enough to step out on her own—a quiet testament to what she endured. Despite her past, she is a loving, gentle girl who is learning that the world can be kind. With patience and reassurance, she continues to blossom, and she will thrive in a calm, compassionate home that understands how special it is to earn her trust. She does well with other dogs and finds comfort in having them around! She is fine with cats as well! Nickie will arrive in Albion, NY in mid March and we would love to have a family waiting for her! * Please note: All dogs are rescues so we often do not know the actual breeds but use an educated guess to tell you what they most look like. Our adoption fee is $400 and unless otherwise stated all dogs and puppies have been spayed/neutered, microchipped, 4DX tested(if age appropriate), Put on heartworm/flea/tick prevention, age appropriately vaccinated, dewormed, vet checked and flown from Puerto Rico.
