Marilyn is searching for her forever home. At about thirteen years old, she’s a charming mix of sweet and sassy — a little old lady with opinions. She absolutely loves being near her people. Head pets are her favorite, and she’ll happily curl up in bed beside you or stretch out in a sunny spot for a cozy afternoon nap. She enjoys companionship and simply being part of your quiet daily routine. Just be careful of her hips — she’s not a fan of being touched there and will let you know with a hiss or swat if something doesn’t feel right. Marilyn is easygoing and content living the indoor life, soaking up warmth and comfort. She prefers to be your one and only, though she can tolerate another calm, older cat who respects her space. Health-wise, Marilyn has arthritis and does best with a monthly Solensia injection along with gabapentin during the day to keep her comfortable. She also has an old leg injury that makes walking a bit difficult, but it doesn’t stop her from going about her daily life. Her bloodwork was good. Marilyn isn’t looking for perfection — just patience, understanding, and someone who will treasure her exactly as she is.
