About Tango

Tango’s story isn’t an easy one. After being hit by a car and attacked by other dogs, he was left in terrible shape by the side of the road. Thanks to a rescue, he got the surgeries he needed on his hips and teeth. While Tango does walk with an unusual gait now, he’s able to do just about everything a typical dog can do. None of this has dampened his outlook — he’s bright, sweet, and has a huge heart. Tango spent months in crate rest during recovery but never let it break his friendly spirit. He greets everyone with affection and is always eager for attention. Now about 2-3 years old, he has the energy and enthusiasm of a dog who knows what it means to get a second chance. He gets along well with other dogs, cats, and children. With his medium apricot-beige coat and good nature, he stands out as a one-of-a-kind companion who’s been neutered, is house trained, and is up to date on his vaccines. Ready to leave the past behind, Tango’s looking for the home he deserves. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
