About Butter
Butter is a gentle, calm boy with a curious streak. He enjoys eating, playing, and exploring his surroundings, and his favorite way to show affection is by wagging his tail, leaning in for pets, or walking away just to draw you back. Butter is easygoing with other dogs and cats—he fits in well with anyone in the home, including kids. He's especially clever when meeting new, strong-willed animals, quickly choosing to keep things peaceful or simply walk away. Butter was rescued from a dangerous stretch near a freeway, undersized and malnourished. Months of care helped him regain his strength, and he's now been neutered and is current on all vaccinations. Living in his foster home, Butter continues to be gentle and well-mannered, beloved by other pets. He thrives on treats, mixed meals, and lots of attention. Finding him a forever home matters. Adopting Butter isn't about getting a perfect dog, but about changing his life—and yours. He needs someone who understands the patience and responsibility that come with bringing in a rescue animal.
