About Big Boy
This fellow is Big Boy! He ended up at the shelter on 2/13 after his person became homeless and tried to find him a new home. The volunteers describe Big Boy as very energetic and fun-loving. He walks nicely on leash, but is strong so would benefit from a refresher course in leash walking skills. Big Boy will sit nicely when asked. If you're looking for an enthusiastic new BFF who will be happy to join you on all of life's grand adventures, please come meet Big Boy! Big Boy is approximately 2 years old, and weighs 55 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines, and will be neutered and microchipped upon adoption. Unfortunately, Big Boy did test positive for heartworms, but with proper treatment and care he can go on to live a long and healthy life. Please speak with shelter staff about the option of fostering to adopt while he receives treatment. Big Boy is waiting to meet you in kennel 83; his ID # is 16973.
