About Clyde
Clyde is a classic, big-headed brindle Pit Bull Terrier looking for a place to call home. At 4 years old, he comes off tough at first glance, but the reality is heâs a devoted softie once you earn his trust. Heâs especially drawn to men and tends to fixate on his personâhe bonds fast and hard, offering unwavering loyalty in return. His size is matched only by the size of his heart. Donât let his imposing look fool you. Underneath, Clyde is timid, especially around other dogs. Because of that, he needs an experienced adopter, ideally someone familiar with the breed whoâs seeking a one-on-one companion. Clydeâs past hasnât been easy; abandoned by his previous owners, he landed with a rescue so he wouldnât end up in the shelter. Now he wants only what he hasnât had: stability, care, and a chance to thrive with someone who gets him. Heâs house trained, neutered, up to date on his vaccines, and, while currently in California, he can be moved to Washington if needed. If youâre not quite ready to commit, heâs also looking for a foster home. Clydeâs ready to give someone 100 times the love he receivesâhe just needs you to step up for him. This could be the start of something paw-some.
