Sadie with 8 others were taken in from a breeder who was done with them and was going to kill if not removed within 72 hours. These poor dogs were kept in a crate large enough to turn around and lay down and that was their life. No interaction with humans. They will need patience, tolerance and time to figure out living outside a cage, what a house is, how to cuddle and understand that being held is not a terrible thing. They are finally starting to explore outside the cage and going in and out a doggie door. They do well with the other dogs at shelter. Sadie is improving well. She still runs from people but is coming back to sniff and watch. She is showing good improvement in the last week. she is around 6 yrs.
