Oh, oh, Oreo! I’m an adult fellow who is shy and mellow on the outside and so very sweet and lovable on the inside. Last summer, I moseyed onto a property in Austin where a woman’s cats liked to catch some rays. I started hanging out with them, and because I was so skinny, the woman who lived there tried feeding me. I was too scared at first, but soon I ate because I was hungry! Her son’s girlfriend is allergic to cats, so she promised no more cats, but she did bring me indoors and let me eat there. I got along with everyone, but I preferred quiet places. I had good manners; I used the litter box, was polite, never fought, never scratched furniture. I love catnip on a scratch pad and come running when I hear the treat container rattle. I love a little ice cream treat once in a while too. This lady could not emphasize enough what a well-behaved, special boy I am. I need someone who will be patient with me because it will take time for me to learn to trust someone new. I am an independent guy, but your kindness and love will be rewarded by my trust in you.
