Hazel is a sensitive, soft-hearted girl who just needs a little time to feel safe in new places and around new people. Once she realizes you’re kind, her whole personality blossoms like sunshine after a rainstorm. She's about 3 1/2 years old and medium-sized. She already knows her basic commands, and with her love of treats, she’s an easy, eager student—the kind who tries her best and looks adorable doing it. She has been working with our enrichment team and has been crushing the goals they have for her. Hazel has spent time in playgroups with other dogs and enjoys a “push-pull” playstyle, meaning she’ll bounce between playful and polite like the sweet little social butterfly she’s growing into. What Hazel needs most is a patient, loving family who will show her how wonderful life can be. With gentle guidance, steady reassurance, and a few snacks (always snacks), she’ll learn that it’s truly great to be a dog.
