About Venus
Venus is an 8-week-old Cane Corso mix puppy looking for an experienced adopter who understands large, powerful breeds. She and her siblings were rescued with their mother from a tough situation and are now thriving in their foster home in Plano, TX. Venus, like her littermates, is playful, curious, and already showing signs of being a loyal companion. Her coloring falls in the classic breed range, including shades of black, blue-gray, and brindle. Although just starting potty training and basic manners, Venus is smart and eager to please. Cane Corsos tend to be devoted, gentle, and protective with their families, yet need to be well socialized and given proper structure from day one. Venus gets along with other dogs and is comfortable around children. She's been started on her vaccines and deworming and will come home with some essentials to help her settle in. She will hate being left alone for long, so she’d do best in a home where people are around most of the day. Venus is not yet house trained and still has all the typical puppy energy and need for supervision. The breed can reach up to 120 lbs full-grown, so keep her future size and strength in mind.
