Hi! My name is Trixie, and I am a red tabby girl born Jan. 26, 2025. Being only one year old, there are still plenty of discoveries to be made. I am a happy cat and enjoy all the typical cat things but I like to add a bit of subtle sassiness to them, amplified by the slight kink in my tail. Maybe just a little hip wag, tail flick or backwards glance because I know my foster mom is watching. When we play 'chase' with my favorite streamer I like running fast then jumping high and sliding on the floor, it's fun and we laugh a lot. I also enjoy playing by myself while I create entertaining adventures around my toys, paper bags, cardboard boxes, and anything else that piques my curiosity. I am indeed very curious and will be right there by your foot if you are opening a closet door to see what is inside. Watching the world go by outside the window is another favorite pastime. The sounds of vehicles, people talking and other animals are just fascinating! When there's a lot of activity and you are going to play hard, you need to rest hard too. My favorite resting place is right next to my foster mom's leg. I like to hug her hand with my front legs and hold her hostage...with love! Although I love my own comfy bed, sometimes I sleep with my foster mom on her bed too. I just love all the hugs and cuddles and want as much as I can get :) Finally, I try to be a classy cat by keeping my litter box and dining area clean. I appreciate all the dry food I am given but do look forward to that wet stuff twice a day. I enjoy my horizontal scratching post and haven't scratched any furniture other than the rug. I have heard that there are small humans called children and I think I would like them but I haven't met any yet here. I also haven't come into contact with other animals but I am pretty easy going so that could be a possibility since I am very social. Overall, I really enjoy company and feeling like I am a part of someone's life, maybe yours?
