Steve is a happy, loving boy who was rescued just in time from a high-kill Texas shelter—and he makes the most of his second chance every single day. He’s currently being fostered at a local dog daycare, where staff call him “the coolest dog there.” Steve is always ready to play, does beautifully in group settings, and is a rockstar at fetch—he’ll bring the ball right back and happily keep the game going. Steve loves people of all ages, but he’s an especially big hit with the teenage boys, who work at the daycare and absolutely adore him. He gets along great with other dogs, is respectful of cats, and genuinely tries hard to be a good boy. He has excellent recall and will come running to you no matter what he’s doing. Friendly, joyful, and eager to please, Steve is the kind of dog who makes everyone smile just by being himself. He’s ready to find the forever family he was saved for—and to be a loyal, fun-loving best friend for life. Steve is neutered, up to date on vaccines and heart worm negative.
