Rexy is a 2-year-old domestic short hair cat that likely has radial hypoplasia. This is a genetic condition that causes the bones in his forearms to be much shorter than normal. Cats that have this can live a happy and normal life with appropriate care. Rexy must be kept as an indoor-only cat because of his genetic condition. But this doesn’t slow him down. He’s very lovable, and incredibly affectionate. He loves attention from his people and loves to play especially with wand toys and felt balls. Rexy weighs 10 lbs and is litter box trained. His foster has an older kitty and Rexy gets along with her. He really hasn’t had enough exposure to dogs to know if he will get along with them.
