Maveryck is especially friendly with other cats and does well in calm homes.
About Maveryck
Maveryck arrived in Columbus after fending for himself for too long, abandoned during a summer heatwave. Despite a rough start, he's pure affection—a cuddler by nature, happiest wrapped up on the couch with someone warm and willing. Maveryck is well past the skittish stage; even though he has some anxiety from his past, his curiosity and love for comfort win out. This black-and-white cow cat gets along famously with other cats, greeting new feline friends with headbutts and snuggles, and has even spent time quietly observing children with no trouble. His favorite time of day seems to be when shoes come out—he goes for the laces—or when you're nearby, which could be in the kitchen, the bathroom, or just relaxing. Food is a true motivator for him, and he takes his meds easily when hidden in a treat. Maveryck is neutered, fully vaccinated, and litter box trained. He does have a special need: a genetic dental condition has left him missing several teeth, but this doesn't slow him down or impact his big appetite. His energy is low—he likes to play, but he's truly a laid-back companion looking for a peaceful, loving home. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
