About Fig

Fig is a striking tuxedo cat with bold yellow eyes and a great set of whiskers. Rescued off the streets of Baltimore just before a big snow, he shook off a painful leg abscess with a little care and now moves around comfortably. He's friendly, outgoing, and surprisingly relaxed for a former street cat—more apt to melt at your side or "help" you with Netflix than sprint through the house. You’ll get headbutts, biscuits, and plenty of chirpy conversation. He gets along with other cats and dogs after some cautious introduction, but would adapt just as well as an only pet. Fig is tolerant and would likely do well with respectful children. Already neutered, microchipped, and updated on his vaccines, he enjoys the simple domestic life. This is a cat who quickly fits in, appreciates attention, but doesn’t demand nonstop play. Fig isn’t part of Walter Rescue, but they’re helping him find his home. They’re happy to answer any questions about him. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
