Dirk is a black and white Domestic Short Hair kitten living in Eugene, OR. He has a short coat and is small in size. Dirk is neutered, up to date on his vaccines, and house trained. He requires a special environment due to previous upper respiratory issues, so scents and allergens should be kept to a minimum. Dirk gets along well with other cats and is looking for an indoor, cat-friendly home.

About Dirk

Dirk is an affectionate, goofy 8-month-old tuxedo kitten who lives for playtime and laughter. He thrives in a home with another kitten his age—or he’d be just as content to head home with his best pals, Deb or Giovanni. Dirk’s playful streak never quits; he’ll chase feather sticks, hunt bouncy balls, and invent new games with any toy he finds. Once he’s worn out, he turns into a social groomer, seeking out a nap curled up with his feline buddies or cozying up on your lap. Dirk does need a little extra care from someone attentive—he’s had mild upper respiratory issues before, so he’ll do best in a home kept free of strong scents and smoke. That means no scented cleaners, perfumes, candles, or incense. Dirk must stay indoors and is ideal for homes where kids are age 7 or older, since S.A.R.A. recommends kittens under 1 go to families with older children. He’s neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, FeLV/FIV tested, and ready to meet you in Eugene, OR. Dirk gets along great with other cats and hopes to find a playful companion in his new home. Your new best friend is just one click away.
