About Malone
Meet Malone: a seasoned little character who really leans into retirement. At 11 years old, heās got a small frame, wiry coat, and a legendary set of eyebrowsāat least, we assume so by the way he regards you from his favorite blanket. Malone knows what he likes and expects you to respect his lane. Heās mostly deaf and his vision isnāt sharp, so youāll need to give him a little warning before handling. Startle him and you may get a grumpy snap; give him head scratches and back rubs and youāll hear that very particular Malone happy growlāthat's just his way of saying heās content. He settles in quickly, learns his surroundings, and isnāt above being carried or bathedāas long as you announce yourself first. Malone snoozes hard and is all about his kennel and dog bed, but he doesnāt want to miss anything important. He likes to hang out near you, low-key overseeing daily operations. Walks are on his terms now: slow, nose-to-the-ground, and short. Dogs who know the meaning of personal space are fine by him; polite cats donāt concern him whatsoever. Heās not interested in children or surprises. Buttoned-up and particular, Malone is loyal and full of scruffy charm. The right home will let him do retirement his way, with plenty of respect and room for naps. Make him part of your householdāheās not likely to let you forget it. Ready to fall in love?
