About Quincy
Meet Quincy! 🐾 Quincy is a six-month-old bundle of personality and charm! He may be a little shy when you first meet him, but give him a little time and you’ll quickly see his energetic, adventurous, and endlessly curious side shine through. This handsome boy LOVES feathers — bring out a wand toy and watch him spring into action! He’s also a big fan of “window TV,” happily spending time watching birds, squirrels, and the world go by. When he’s in playful mode and you try to scoop him up, he might dash away… only to peek back at you, trot right over, and rub against you or hop into your lap once he decides it’s his idea. 😊 Quincy has a soft spot for boxes (the simpler the better!) and absolutely melts for chin scratches. While he can be independent and enjoys his solo nap time — often in the silliest, most awkward positions — he also has a sweet, affectionate side that comes out once he feels comfortable. He may enjoy a playful feline friend, especially one who is social and respectful. Quincy would thrive in a home that gives him a little patience at first and plenty of playtime to let his fun personality blossom. If you’re looking for a playful, quirky, and lovable companion, Quincy just might be your perfect match! 💙 If you are interested in adopting the first step is to go to our website and fill out an application. https://placingpawsrescue.org/applications/cat-application/ The adoption fee is $175. ($50.00 reduction in adoption fee for a pair). ADOPTION FEE: The adoption donation includes spay or neuter, microchip, age appropriate shots, deworming, flea preventative and a negative FIV/Luekemia test. ADOPTION PROCESS: PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an application online at www.placingpawsrescue.org. Once we review the applications, those applicants that are thought to be a good match will be contacted as quickly as possibly. We ask that you please be patient with us as we are all volunteers. Then a telephone interview will take place and references will be checked. We will then arrange for you to meet the cat or kitten. We put all of the known information in the animals description. If the animal is listed on the website, we are still accepting applications for that animal. We only remove the animal when the final adoption paperwork is signed. The best way to contact us is by email at placingpaws@yahoo.com. It is very difficult for the limited numbers of volunteers to return all calls. Thank you.
