Sweet Potato is looking for a loving foster home to grow big and strong while receiving medical treatment Reason for Foster: Underage/Underweight and Upper Respiratory Infection (URI) Foster Time Frame: 3 Weeks (The foster time frame may be longer depending on future rechecks and medical needs.) Foster Care Plan: Sweet Potato is eating well on his own and using the litter box. This kitten needs a little time in a foster home to gain weight for his neuter surgery. Sweet Potato is also being treated for an upper respiratory infection, which is similar to a common cold. Since he may be contagious to other cats, we strongly recommend keeping him in a separate, dedicated space such as a spare bathroom or bedroom until he has fully recovered. He will go to his foster home with medication, and once treatment is complete, he will be ready for surgery/adoption.
