About Bo
BO! What a boy! BO's STORY: Bo was hand raised and adopted out as a kitten by Eva Cox's 'I DREAM OF WHISKERS' rescue of Ormond Beach. Unfortunately, Eva passed away in Oct 2025 of lung cancer. While she was undergoing chemo, Eva received a phone call from Volusia County Animal Control in August 2025 that they had a cat that was brought in to be TNR'd (Trap, Neuter and Return). While BO was awaiting to undergo surgery, the vet noticed that Bo had already been fixed. They scanned him for a chip and it returned to Eva's rescue. The adopter never changed the chip over...... Because Eva was very ill and not able to take him, she contacted Cat 6 Purricane Rescue to ask if we could take him. OF COURSE! We tried to contact the original adopters and they did not return our communications. Apparently, BO was dumped! Cat 6 Rescue took in BO and got him updated with shots, bloodwork and his SNAP TEST was NEG. BO has been living in my home since August. ABOUT BO: He is an amazingly wonderful cat! Birthdate is 2/1/2023. He was fixed and chipped by Eva Cox when he was a kitten. I had bloodwork, snap test, rabies and distemper done on 8/25/25. His bloodwork is excellent. BO is very friendly. Is cat and dog friendly. He would love to be the ALPHA in the house! (I have an alpha so sometimes there are issues but are resolved quickly). BO is a tall very strong and social boy. He sleeps under my covers every night. He is a big big loverboy, but is also independent. He knows his name. He's a great eater. Uses the litterbox with no issues. What BO needs is a family where he can be the alpha that he desires to be. He's a big strong and smart cat but also a big lap cat and cuddler... when he's in the mood! If you are interested in meeting BO or have any questions, please call me at 908-380-0946 Dee, President of Cat 6 Purricane Rescue, Ormond Beach. BO would make an excellent family pet! BO's rehoming fee is $25. Thank you!
