They rely heavily on one another for comfort and security and are looking for a committed home that understands their needs and is ready to give them the time, structure, and love they deserve. These boys are very affectionate, people-oriented, and thrive on attention. They form strong bonds with their humans and do experience separation anxiety, so a home where someone is home often is required. Long work hours away from home would not be a good fit for them. A secure, fenced yard is required. Due to their vocal nature, apartments, condos, or shared-wall living situations are not suitable—they are barkers and need space. Luca and Copper spent much of their lives crated due to neglect. Because of this, they will not be adopted to a home that plans to crate them full-time or for extended periods. Their forever home must allow them to free roam in a safe, secure environment. Crating should only be used when truly necessary for safety or comfort. Both boys are fully housebroken and do best with routine and consistency. Despite their past, Luca and Copper are gentle, loving, and trusting. They were previously neglected—confined for long periods and denied proper care, attention, and affection—but they remain eager to bond and be close to their people. They deserve a home that prioritizes their emotional well-being, provides a healthy diet, and continues their care with compassion.
