About Cookie

Make their next chapter their best one yet. Cookie is a charming senior pittie mix who has a big heart and an even bigger love for snacks. After spending his first eight years as an outside dog, he carries a few reminders in the form of small marks on his face, but his spirit remains bright. At 53 pounds, Cookie is a healthy and energetic fellow, always eager to explore and embark on little adventures around the house—just be prepared, as he’s been known to sneak off with items he finds tempting to chew on! His fondness for chewing bones and snuggling into cozy blankets speaks to his playful and affectionate side. Despite a bit of arthritis, which is well-managed with regular medication and vitamins, Cookie gets around well and loves being a great car companion. He handled his vet visits like a pro and has done well with other dogs in playgroups, showcasing his social and friendly nature. Cookie is not yet house trained and will benefit from a patient family willing to guide him through the process. He hasn’t been tested with cats, so a careful introduction would be wise if you have feline family members. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
