About Cookie
Cookie is a senior pit mix who never stops thinking about snacks. After spending most of his first decade living outdoors, he's now learning the comforts of a soft blanket and a warm home. Cookie still has a few marks on his face from years spent pressing against a fence, but now he spends his days stretching out in comfort, chewing bones, and searching for cozy spots. Weighing in at 53 pounds, Cookie is sturdy, curious, and surprisingly spry for his years. He's handled vet trips like a champ, riding in the car without fuss. Watch out for his mischievous streak—if left unsupervised, he'll swipe anything that looks chew-worthy. Cookie has some arthritis managed with medication and supplements, which is to be expected at his age, but overall, he’s in solid health. He enjoys the company of other dogs in playgroup and has not yet been tested with cats. Cookie is still working on his house training.
