About Daisy

Daisy landed in rescue as a sick puppy rescued from a hoarding situation, then bounced back to health and found a home at 4 months old. Nine months later, she returned—still playful, but her energy didn't suit her senior dog housemate. Daisy has been working on her training at Pup Pup and Away, building confidence and learning how to navigate social situations with other dogs. She’s made clear she doesn’t love the company of pugs. Daisy tends to be dog selective, but she communicates her preferences openly—offering her belly to dogs she likes or calmly disengaging from those she doesn’t. She’s crate trained, does well on leash, and is fully potty trained. Daisy knows sit, lay down, and will wait patiently at mealtimes. Timid with strangers at first, once she trusts you she will shower you with affection and cuddles. Notes from trainers highlight Daisy's progress: she respects boundaries, responds well to redirection, and shows impressive impulse control with treats. In new situations she can be anxious, but her resilience and receptiveness to positive reinforcement stand out. Staff adore her and describe her as sweet, gentle, and rewarding to work with. Daisy thrives with attentive people who understand her needs, and you'll find her ready to share affection once she settles in. She is currently enjoying life in San Antonio, TX and hopes to find a family who appreciates her strengths and playful heart. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
