Rita was found on the street by a trapper in November. When she was getting ready to go through TNR, they discovered she had already been spayed. She got her vaccines and ear tip, as she was going to be released, but when she was healing at the trappers, she was found to be a very friendly and sweet girl! The finders did post around the neighborhood and the neighborhood apps to see if she was somebodies cat, but had no luck, as she wasn't microchipped either. Rita is now at the cafe ready to be adopted by the purrfect family, just in time for the holidays! Rita does have a lump on her right cheek that will be removed and biopsied. PALnv is planning to do so when we have our surgery room set up, in the meantime, our veterinarian has no major concern for it. UPDATE: We removed the mass on her lip and sent it in for a biopsy and it came back benign! Rita also has grade 2 dental disease, meaning she will need a dental cleaning in the near future. But this isn't something that is urgent nor affecting her eating and daily habits.
