Rocco's world was turned upside down when he unexpectedly lost his dad. We offered to help him find a home so he didn't have to return to the shelter. He's currently in foster in Winter Park, FL. A little about Rocco: - Bulldog - almost 5 years old + approx 60 pounds - neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated with no known health issues - pulls on leash, and gets overexcited at times, but likes walks. Hime with fenced yard is ideal - crate trained, no separation anxiety - potty trained and housebroken - knows basic commands: place, sit, down, stay, and recalls to his name - can’t live with cats - velvety, sweet, likes belly rubs, seeks affection, loves toys Rocco was living previously in a home (for 2+ years) with a child and a female bulldog. We are unsure what his interactions with them were like, but we wouldn’t place him in a home with children as he gets growly and pounces when he's overly excited or wants to initiate play or get attention. He’d be a great only dog Rocco is staying temporarily with Reather, a trusted positive reinforcement, force free trainer. Reather is kindly helping us learn more about him.
