Caviar's Story Caviar is a 3 year-old Bichon mix that weighs 12 pounds. She has an amazing disposition; she loves being with people and rolling over for belly rubs! We rescued her from a local shelter, she had been hit by a car and sadly had to have one of her back legs amputated. Her owners did not want her back so we gladly took her into Rescue! This little tripod girl is a total love bug! She has fully recovered from her surgery and looking for her forever home. Due to her small size and missing a back leg it is important to go to a home that does not require stairs to access the yard Please keep in mind that she is a non-shedding dog and will require regular trips to the groomers for a haircut. She is a very companion oriented little girl that loves being with her people!. Caviar is great with other dogs, but she’s also perfectly content being an only dog. She is housebroken, travels well in the car and knows how to use potty pads. We are uncertain as to how she would do with young children, but kids over the age of 5 should be just fine!
