About Bugsy
Bugsy’s life changed when he arrived at the shelter in Leesburg, GA, battered and defeated, little more than skin and bones. He wouldn’t meet anyone’s eyes unless gently encouraged, his soft gaze reaching out for a shred of hope. Months of care, medicated baths, and steady love turned Bugsy around—now he’s a quick-to-bond, playful dog full of spirit and looking for a real home for the first time. His adoption fee includes everything you’ll need: neutering, vaccinations (including rabies), a microchip, and a heartworm test (he’s low heartworm positive). Bugsy isn’t house trained yet, but with patience and consistency, he’s ready to keep learning and keep healing. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
