About Toby
Click apply to start the adoption process. Toby is an irresistibly sweet and lovable small dog who is always eager to make new friends. At around 6–7 years old, he has a calm indoor personality and gets along beautifully with both male and female humans—adults and older children alike (he hasn’t been observed with very young kids yet). Toby is equally comfortable with other dogs, including larger breeds, and even enjoys the company of cats. This little guy isn’t shy about seeking adventure, so he’ll need to be kept on leash or within a securely fenced yard, as he has a tendency to roam if given the chance. Toby is an excellent companion in the car, is crate trained, leash trained, and semi house trained. While he never poops indoors, he does need to wear a belly band (dog diaper) inside to prevent marking. Toby could be the ideal match for a retiree or anyone looking for a laid-back, devoted companion with fantastic house manners. If you’re looking to add a kind-hearted, easygoing dog to your life, Toby is ready to win your heart. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
