About Dumbo

Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now! Meet Dumbo, a seasoned gentleman who has probably lived a "nine-lives" kind of story. While his past adventures left him FIV-positive, it hasn't dampened his spirit—he's looking for a cozy, indoor retirement where he can finally be the center of someone's world. Dumbo is the perfect mix of mature wisdom and kitten-like joy. He’s surprisingly playful, often surprising with bursts of energy when his favorite toys come out. He can take a thoughtful, cautious moment to get to know you, but with a patient approach, he becomes a devoted companion. He absolutely craves attention and rewards his favorite humans with an incredibly deep, rumbly purr that you can feel from across the room. He may do best in a calmer home, so at this time the shelter will only rehome Dumbo to a household without children under 8. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
