Bedelia may not have eyes, but make no mistake; she knows she’s iconic, and that she has the entire shelter staff wrapped around her (metaphorical) finger. She navigates the world using her nose, her ears, and an unmatched ability to command attention. Bedelia is excellent at many things, including learning routines, accepting praise like it’s her job, and reminding everyone that blindness does not cancel charisma. She doesn’t waste time worrying about what she can’t see; she’s far too busy sniffing, learning, and figuring out where the snacks are. This young, large lady is looking for a home that understands diva rules: announce yourself before touching, keep her environment consistent, and speak to her like the star she is (with respect, appreciation... and maybe a snack in your hand).
