About Moose
What are you waiting for? Apply today! Moose truly is the sweetest loaf you will ever meet—affectionate, loving, and devoted to those around him. He absolutely adores being petted and will stay by your side, soaking up every bit of attention you have to offer. Moose is a champion napper, whether stretched out in his crate or curled up next to you on the couch (and you’ll get to enjoy his charming old-man snores). Outdoors, Moose loves to lounge in the sun and take in all the scents, and he’s always happy to have a squeaky toy or bully stick nearby. Since Moose is heartworm positive and started his treatment recently, his walks need to be limited to short distances, but his calm personality makes recovering a breeze. He’s incredibly gentle with children, always taking treats softly and showing remarkable patience. Moose would shine as the only pet in your home, but he’s also housebroken and comfortable in a crate, making him an easy-going companion. Moose didn’t have the easiest start in life—he and his best friend Poppy were left behind at an elementary school, yet their big hearts remain full of love. They can be adopted together, and Happy Hearts Dog Rescue will offer a discount to anyone who wants to let these two inseparable seniors continue their journey together. Moose’s heartworm treatment is fully covered by the rescue and included in his $250 adoption fee. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
