About Mimosa
Meet MIMOSA Female | Approximately 9â10 weeks old | 4 lbs Mimosa is a stunning young puppy with the prettiest tricolor coat and beautifully blended markings that make her truly special. She came to us from a difficult situation in the Central Valley, but that is now behind her as she begins a fresh start in foster care. Despite her rough beginning, Mimosa has shown a gentle curiosity and is learning every day what it means to feel safe and loved. Like all puppies her age, Mimosa has no formal training yet. She is not house trained and not crate trained, which is completely normal and expected. She will need a family committed to positive training, socialization, daily exercise, and consistent structure as she grows. Mimosa is expected to be non-shedding to low-shedding and will require regular grooming throughout her life. Based on her current size, we anticipate she will be approximately 12â20 pounds full grown. She is looking for a home that understands puppies are a full-time commitment and is ready to invest the time, patience, and consistency needed to raise a confident, well-adjusted adult dog. GENERAL PUPPY INFORMATION (PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING) These puppies are true infants, comparable to bringing home a newborn human. They are adorable, resilient, and full of potential, but they are also a full-time commitment and not low-maintenance pets. All of these puppies are approximately 9 to 10 weeks old and currently weigh between 3 and 6 pounds. We expect them to be small to medium sized adults, likely in the 12 to 20 pound range when fully grown. They came to us from the Central Valley from sad to poor living conditions, but that chapter of their lives is behind them. Despite their rough start, they have shown incredible resilience and continue to thrive in foster care. These puppies have no formal training at this time. They are not house trained and not crate trained, which is completely normal and expected at their age. Adopters must be prepared to commit to training, socialization, daily exercise, and structure. Puppies require time, patience, consistency, and supervision and cannot be left alone for long periods. These dogs are non-shedding to low-shedding and will require regular grooming throughout their lives. A suitable home must be a house, not an apartment, and adopters must have a flexible schedule and be both financially and mentally prepared for the full puppy experience. Raising a puppy is a joyful but demanding responsibility, and we expect adopters to understand and embrace that commitment.
