About Tequila
Meet Tequila! This goofy, pocket-sized pitty has been on quite a journey since arriving at the rescue. Originally surrendered with her brother (now adopted), Tequila has spent her time in foster care soaking up house manners from her doggy foster siblings. She’s great off leash and is still working on her skills with a leash. Meeting new people can be scary for her, but once she gets comfortable, she’s loyal and a total cuddle bug. Building trust takes some time, so several visits are recommended to help Tequila settle in with her future family. She thrives having another confident dog around to show her the ropes and help her feel safe. Tequila lives peacefully with cats and gets along well with other dogs. Born on September 29th, Tequila is a Libra—so expect a companion who appreciates harmony, even if she’s still finding her balance in new situations. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!

Questions about Tequila
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Tequila is a mixed-breed dog who does best in a home where she has company, ideally with another confident dog. She adapts well to houses with space to lounge and play, especially those with a secure yard.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
As a medium-sized mixed-breed like Tequila, regular outdoor time is important, but she doesn’t need a giant yard. Daily walks and safe, supervised off-leash play let her burn energy and feel content.

Tequila’s breed mix often fits into homes with respectful children, provided introductions are patient and gentle since she can be shy at first.
