Berry is a 1-year-old, 40-pound German Shepherd mix with a sweet and gentle nature. She’s a submissive girl who is still building her confidence, but her loving personality shines through more every day. This goofy pup still moves like a youngster, happily figuring out her stride as she grows into herself. She’s active, playful, and enjoys having fun, whether that’s romping with dog friends or spending time with her humans. With a little encouragement and love, Berry is sure to blossom into a confident and loyal best friend. Walk-ins are available from Tuesday to Friday from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM. ADOPTION PROCESS: If you are interested in adopting from Second Chance SPCA, please come during open hours. Adopters will visit with an adoption counselor and complete a short application. Adopters must live within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and be at least 21 years old. Renters must provide proof of pet deposit and/or written permission by landlord to have a pet. ADOPTION FEES: Includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, fecal, and heartworm test (dogs) or FeLV/FIV test (cats). All cats and dogs are current on heartworm and flea preventative. $275 for puppies under 6 months of age and $225 for dogs older than 6 months. $175 for kittens under 6 months of age and $150 for cats older than 6 months.
