*Spaniel Mix *4 yrs old; Spaniel mix *Friendly, fluffy fella! Arrived with a back leg injury which will be addressed at our clinic. Volunteer note Feb 9: Donald is new to Oconee, and while the kennels can be loud and confusing for him, he’s already showing what a sweet and thoughtful dog he is. When I walked back to the kennels, he was sitting nicely, smiling, and wagging his tail. He really enjoys going for walks and takes his time sniffing everything, clearly curious about the world around him. He’s very attentive and watches everyone closely. I’m not sure yet if he’s played with other dogs, but he showed eagerness to be near them, which is a very positive sign. He does seem to have come in with an injury to his back leg and wasn’t fully bearing weight on it, but that didn’t stop him from wanting to explore and engage. Donald seems like a gentle, observant boy who will thrive as he settles in.
