About Dodger

Dodger is that classic goofy dog who just wants to hang out and wag his tail. At a little over 2 years old, he's a mix of Staffordshire (pit bull) and Labrador Retriever, and his personality is all wiggly energy, especially around other dogs—he greets them with play bows and tail wags. He’s clearly craving more than kennel routines; give him a yard and some real playtime and he’ll start to relax. He’s friendly, loves a good sniff outdoors, and genuinely enjoys having dog friends to keep up his spirits. Dodger sometimes gets stressed in his kennel, occasionally barking and bouncing off the door, but once outside he’s loose, easy to walk, and sociable with people and other pups. Staff note he may have a bit of barrier reactivity, but it vanishes when he’s out and about. He’s been healthy with the exception of a mild URI that was treated promptly, and his heartworm test is negative. This silly, lovable guy needs a home where he can stretch his legs and have fun.
