About Wawa

Wawa is a resilient little survivor who arrived at our rescue after a tough start. At just one month old, she tested positive for a serious virus and faced euthanasia at the county shelter. Fortunately, we stepped in just in time. During her treatment, Wawa had to be isolated and spent a long time in a kennel, which caused her to associate humans primarily with medications. Now fully healed and cleared by our veterinarian, she doesn’t have any ongoing medical needs. What she truly needs is a patient and loving family willing to give her the one-on-one attention she has missed out on. While Wawa has been overlooked for younger kittens, she has so much affection to share. You can see her sweetness in her videos. With over 40 cats in our care, she doesn't get as much attention as she'd like, but in a loving home, she will flourish. If you believe Wawa could be the companion for you, please consider applying. Her adoption fee has been partially sponsored to help her find a forever home. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
