About Wawa
Wawa is a small survivor with a remarkable story. After testing positive for a life-threatening virus as a tiny one-month-old, she narrowly avoided euthanasia thanks to a quick rescue. Months of isolation taught her that humans meant medicine, but her resilient spirit carried her through. Now fully recovered and cleared by the vet, Wawa has no lingering health issues—just a longing for patience, understanding, and gentle attention. She’s been passed over in favor of younger kittens, but that just means she’s ready for someone willing to give her a little extra time to open up. With dozens of other cats competing for attention at the rescue, Wawa doesn’t get nearly enough of the affection she craves. In her own home, she’s sure to blossom into a truly devoted companion. Wawa gets along well with both cats and dogs. Her adoption fee has been partially sponsored to help her finally find her forever family. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
